I’m a full-time web-based professional artist, best known for my breast paintings and my collaborative efforts with Koopa the Turtle (now retired from painting.) I sell my artwork on eBay and (commissions) through my website, www.turtlekiss.com.
My art is generally abstract and unconventional, although I’m skilled in landscape, still life, figural drawing, and some types of sculpture (mainly polymer clay.) I just don’t have the patience for any degree of realism, so I put most of my focus into developing pieces with great color, contrast, and composition. I enjoy working with different mediums and finding new ways to get paint onto a canvas (although I’ve got nothing against brushes). I like to be the first (documented) to attempt any given method or style.
I respect creativity and unique ideas/execution. Trial and error. I deal with plenty of copycats, and I expose them on this blog because having my words & ideas stolen feels like my heart is being ripped out.
I’m a freshwater fishing fanatic, a lover of baseball (Red Sox and Mariners,) I have a passion for pure silence, and I detest hot weather. I enjoy video editing, audio editing, photo editing, and working with various nontraditional materials. Due to my irrational fears, I feel destined to be an unknown forever, although my conscience tells me I’m dead wrong.
I miss the Hartford Whalers…
Experimenting with B & W digital photography a lot lately too.
I don’t make a habit of flaunting the “goods” (my breasts/brushes) but they do exist:

My freshwater fishing addiction is pretty severe. I’ve been known to sit in my dinghy for 13 straight hours…and I’ll spend 6 of those hours in one spot, waiting for a strike.

August 2009 – 5 1/4 lb. largemouth – caught with a rubber frog & released alive…see? Sitting in the lily pads for 6 hours pays off sometimes!

Yes. Awesome.

This is a fake cupcake!
I have a wonderful husband named Nestor, or “Nes” for short, because it sounds slightly cooler and is less likely to be confused with “Lester” or “Hector.” Pretty much the most patient guy I could ever ask for. He hates fishing though.

Currently I’m painting primarily with my breasts, which I’ve been doing since 2001. I took a short break in 2003 to advance Koopa’s career, but now that he’s retired I’m happy to return to a method I’ve spent years developing and perfecting.

I’m gradually becoming (slightly) well-known from my use of unorthodox painting instruments, such as fruits & vegetables and toys (wind-up, RC, etc.) My intention is to provoke emotion through my art, stand apart from the crowd, make living spaces more beautiful, and most importantly, make people smile! My works can be seen in homes and businesses throughout the world. Regardless, I’m still obscure due to my lack of “offline” exposure.
This is my Koopa, the most successful painting turtle in the world (now retired from art.) He safely created and sold over 800 original artworks in his 5 year career. Currently he is very happy and healthy, and just lives the life of any free-roaming, hat-wearing, housebroken turtle.

It’s also important to mention that I suffer from pretty severe anxiety and ADD. I hope that writing about my challenges will help me become a stronger person and learn how to better deal with my emotions. I’d like to talk to anyone experiencing the same types of issues. I struggle with being comfortable in my skin, sharing my thoughts, and exposing my true self. I fear failure and success.
I am a proud non-believer/skeptic who is disgusted (offended, sickened, repulsed, etc.) by most forms of religion/worship. Religion has caused more war, death, destruction, hatred, hypocrisy, and ignorance than anything else in the history of mankind. Believe what you want, but please honor the values of equality, harmony, unconditional respect, and justice without judgment…and please don’t disregard science! The future of our world is all about the Golden Rule, baby!

I'm an Internet-based (anxiety-ridden) abstract artist residing in Connecticut. I'm best known for my breast paintings, which I've been offering sporadically since 2001. You may also be familiar with my work with Koopa, the world's 1st professional painting turtle (now enjoying early retirement.) I'm currently spending lots of time creating photographs, beaded jewelry and poetry too! Thanks for visiting!
