I can’t even begin to describe how slow my computer has been running lately. Every page loads as if I’m on dial-up, and I can’t figure out what the problem is. I’ve tried restarting the computer, resetting my modem and router, and swearing at it. Nothing seems to help. I finally got an auction set to be listed tonight…here is “Garden of Hope #7,” and as you can probably tell, it took forever to create:

I’m trying out eBay’s donation process again, giving 10% to breast cancer research with this particular painting. I haven’t used the donation option in a while due to glitches in eBay’s Missionfish program. I ran into the same glitches today that I had with them several years ago. It will be interesting to see if I get charged twice for this listing, because as soon as I clicked on the “donate” button, all my preset information disappeared, and I needed to “revise” the listing and (I suspect) get charged for the same options again. I really hope it works, because I’d love to be able to give a portion from these paintings to breast cancer research again. I hope that my donations don’t get rejected like they were with Susan G. Komen.
Went fishing with Nes on Sunday…I caught 6 bluegill/sunfish (no need for pics – nothing special) and lost 3 fish that jumped off my line before I got to see what they were. One of them was huge and I was so upset that I didn’t get to see how big it was, or even what type of fish it was. It was a very good fight, probably a carp or huge bass. We fished well past dark using battery-powered bobbers. I’m now addicted to night fishing and will be going back to the pond to catch what I missed last time.

I'm an Internet-based (anxiety-ridden) abstract artist residing in Connecticut. I'm best known for my breast paintings, which I've been offering sporadically since 2001. You may also be familiar with my work with Koopa, the world's 1st professional painting turtle (now enjoying early retirement.) I'm currently spending lots of time creating photographs, beaded jewelry and poetry too!
