Blue Man Group and “New Hope #29″
The BMG show was a very cool experience, but even after seeing it I’m struggling to come up with a fitting description. It was a combination of music, comedy, audience participation, and visual effects. The performance is impressive, although their style of music isn’t really “my thing.” The way it’s presented definitely makes up for it.
DJ/VJ Mike Relm was the opening act, and he was excellent as well. Relm manipulates music and video from popular movies, TV shows, etc. Here’s a poor-quality clip from one of his shows:
“New Hope #29″ will be listed tonight:

You know, I’d love to see the BMG as well… just from their commercials alone, I think I’d find their sense of comedy and music entertaining. Glad you got to see them. What did your dad think of them? Glad Koopa is doing better… bea

Hi Bea! It’s great to see something so different from a regular concert…it was very well put-together and innovative. Dad loved them too. Thanks for stopping by to check in on us!
