Woman’s World article, “Garden of Hope #2″
Those of you wanting to supplement your Koopa documentation might want to pick up next week’s copy of Woman’s World (usually located amongst the tabloids.) I did the interview in January, so I assume all of the information it contains will be outdated. It’ll be about various artistic animals, not just Koopa. I’m not one to complain, but it would have been really nice if they got this article out prior to Koopa’s retirement.
Last night I listed what will probably be the last Koopa painting that I’ll be offering on eBay. It’s #168, from August 2004.

Tonight I’m listing the 2nd painting from the “Garden of Hope” series. As you can see, there’s a bit more detail than the first, and I’m gradually learning how to control “the girls.” I never thought I was going to become a turtle/breast painting specialist when I was a kid.

Hi Kira, I will definetly be getting the magazine when it comes out. I’m so glad to hear that Koopa is holding his own..I worry about him all the time especially since I have one of his pic’s on my fridge that came with the painting. This pic you did looks awesome! So unique. I can’t believe you haven’t heard back from the other two yet…what are you going to do if they don’t contact you?

the double take painting is already over 500 bucks! if i could afford that i would soooo bid. by the way do you know of any turtle rescues in the midwest? thanks!

Penelope - I’ve been in touch with all 3 winners now and just need them to verify their shipping addresses. If I don’t get this info within 2 weeks, we’ll reassess the situation.
Emily - I didn’t check eBay at all today…weird how it jumped up liked that. I know of at least one person who’s already seen the WW article, so maybe that’s the reason. Sorry, I don’t personally have any turtle rescue contacts in the midwest but I’d be willing to help. Are you looking to adopt?
