My “episode” at the concert.

It was very dumb of me to send out Koopa’s retirement message before leaving for the evening.  I got home very late, went to bed, and woke up to 53 e-mails!  I plan to get back to all of you but please be patient and I promise to send out your e-Kisses and respond as soon as I can.

My dad and I went to the Santana concert at Mohegan Sun casino.  It was a fantastic show and I highly recommend seeing it if they come to your area.

Mohegan Sun is built on an Indian reservation, and it’s beautiful.  In Mohegan mythology, the world took shape as a small group of islands on the back of a turtle standing in a giant pond.  As a result, there is a strong turtle motif throughout the casino.  They’re on the carpet, the tile, the walls, the buses, the signs, in the artwork…everywhere.  Several of these turtle symbols were in the arena across from me throughout the concert.  In my brain, a panic attack from looking at turtles seemed perfectly logical.  I’ve had panic disorder for about 10 years, and this was the first time ever that an attack didn’t happen at random.

I just want my Koopa to be OK.

Thank you all for your e-mails and prayers.  They are truly comforting me.
